Now, theatre in the bin is rolling out to other festivals with a brand new show.
Combining character comedy and site specific story telling, The theatre in the bIn will bring festivals to life with eye-catching outdoor performances.
Lead by the hilarious ‘Bin Man' character, Lucky Maclean, ‘Festival in the Bin’ is a dual presentation that consists of:
A 60-75 minute outdoor, promenade performance of imaginative storytelling combined with a tour of the festival’s host town/city;
And/or
a separate 15-20 outdoor, static show consisting of character, physical, clown and prop comedy with audience interaction.
The performance’s engaging is style ideal for attracting attention to the festival programme and creating an enhanced experience for festival goers.
Using everyday discarded items as props and costume, The theatre comes literally from the mobile bin and Lucky makes a show out of rubbish.
